What Do Reports Mean to You?
Lindsay will give a brief overview of the available PLS Reports, scheduled and ad hoc, focusing on recent changes (such as the Bad Stat Cat report) and new reports (like the 3 Year Inactive Patrons) and
emphasizing how certain reports have implications for circulation desk workflow. If time allows, we may also touch on non-report lists of records (such as Browse Holds Shelf and the Transit List) that have direct impact on circulation.
Selection Lists
J and YA publisher preview books will be available for review.

Program I: Human Library - Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover
This presentation will help you learn how your library can host and organize a Human Library Event, with people on loan as living books.
Points about the Human Library that will be covered are: its history, what is & is not the Human Library, your library’s mission, recruiting Human Books, how to find bestsellers, interviewing books, creating titles, and promotion.
Presenter: Judy Schewe, Music & Media Librarian, Central Library of Rochester
Program II: PLA Pecha Kucha Recap
After the Human Library program, several PLA attendees will give
Pecha Kucha-style presentations highlighting their favorite PLA moments.
Pecha Kucha is a concise, fast-paced presentation style that allows several speakers to present in a short period of time.
This program will allow 15 slides to be shown
at 20 seconds a piece giving speakers a total of 5 minutes for their presentation. We hope this will be a fun (and interesting) way to share PLA information.
