10:30am program: Making the Pioneer Way with Leah Hamilton, Melissa Correia, Kim Iraci, Jack Scott, Becky Sloane
How are libraries encouraging the Maker Movement in the Pioneer Library System? Find out whats happening at the Phelps Community Memorial Librarys STEAM Lab. Leah Hamilton will discuss how they find instructors, things to consider when setting up a makerspace, how to find space and why its OK to NOT have a dedicated space. Leah will also demonstrate some of the technologies they have and talk about mistakes theyve made.
