Program: Hooray for More Freedom!
Hooray for More Freedom!Back by popular demand, Eli Guinnee and Margo Gustina return to say Hooray for MORE Freedom! Round two of the Hooray for Freedom series will be on areas requested by round one participants: policy development, confidentiality, parental rights vs. juvenile rights, and dealing with law enforcement inquiry. We'll focus on the actionable black and white policies and procedures that come from all of those messy grey topics.
Speaker bios:
Eli Guinnee is the Executive Director of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System. He has worked at Colorado State Universitys Morgan Library and
the National Library of Scotland, and has been Director of the Buffalo Science Museum Research Library and the Patterson Library in Westfield. He holds an MLS from SUNY Buffalos School of Informatics.
Margo Gustina is the Member Services Consultant of the Southern Tier Library System. She likes being considered a librarians librarian. Her current projects include coordinating
research for the NYLA Sustainability Initiative, expanding the Rural Libraries
RoundTable, supporting libraries in improving digital literacy services, and being a one woman A/V Club for library advocacy.
