Program- Building Community Partnerships

Presenter: Hope Decker, Director of the Cohocton Public Library

Community partnerships help libraries meet their communities' needs, deliver relevant services, and establish themselves as essential community anchors. At this month's System Meeting we will learn about the value of partnerships in small and rural libraries and explore some best practices in community-building. Come prepared to speak about your most successful partnerships; prizes will be awarded for the most creative and inspiring partnerships! By the end of the meeting we hope to have generated a long list of partnering ideas that libraries of every size and budget can put into action.
