Inclusive Libraries: Serving Patrons & Familes on the Spectrum

Guest Speaker: Jennifer Danker-Stiles, Ontario County ARC

With diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorders on the rise, public libraries are seeing more and more patrons and families looking for support and referral services. Ms. Danker-Stiles will present an overview of the Ontario County ARC's Resource Library which is open to the public. She will also discuss the challenges the public library can pose to families living with autism and share some easy supports that public libraries can put into place to lessen these challenges.
