Search results list options
Sort By options
By default, the results list is sorted by "Relevance" - which records most match your search criteria. This depends on the type of search performed and the criteria used. List sorting can be adjusted to sort by: Title, Author, or Publication Date. The list can only be sorted by one option at a time.
Sorting by publication date is not always reliable because of records missing publication dates, re-printed titles, records that include multiple editions, re-issued films, etc.
Show More Details
Clicking "Show More Details" will expand the information displayed for each result. The additional information includes ISBNs and the first 5 copies.
When more details are displayed, the button will change to "Show Fewer Details"
Limit to available
Check "Limit to Available" to display only titles where at least one copy is on the shelf, available for check out. This is particularly useful to use when searching a specific library, and in combination with Show More Details.
Check Group Editions and Formats to see all records associated with the same title regardless of the their format. If a title is available as an audiobook, large print, regular print, etc. all they will all display in one result.
The number of related records is indicated in parantheses, and each related format icon will display. Click on the item title to view each record.
Holds can also be placed so that the hold will be filled by any of the available formats. See:
Place Hold > Advanced Hold Options

SearchLibrary, if selected.
