Last Meeting Followup: ILL Circulation

Circulation Inter-Library Loan outlines circulation policies and procedures for out of system ILL items.

ILL materials from FLCC can now be returned from the library to PLS to be sent from PLS to FLCC by courier. See Interlibrary Loan Request.

Book Discussion Kits

• Search for kits in the OPAC using title= book discussion kits
• Kits circ for 6 weeks
• Patrons cannot renew kits online, but library staff can renew kits for patrons, one time using the hold override
• $1.00 daily fine, $20.00 maxfine
• If kit materials are lost or damaged, contact PLS - Heidi, Kathryn, or Ellen - as soon as possible for guidance

Deactivated; alternate procedures:

• Reports List Items By Copy Status

User Editor > Patron Statistical Categories

If a Residency Code or School Code was manually entered into the patron record with a typographical error or in a non-standard format (for example, "T037 - Town of Genesee" = standard format, "Genesee" is not standard, "TO37- Town of Genesee" includes typos) the record will appear in this list. The record may appear to be correct, but is not! These problems can impact reports used for statistical and financial reports.
