New Business

  • Evergreen version upgrade
    • PLS has contacted Equinox to schedule the upgrade (hopefully in May) - no scheduled date yet
    • NO CHANGE TO STAFF CLIENT DESIGN OR PROCEDURES - primarily bug fixes
    • MarkItemDamaged fixed for non-owning libraries - will work like MarkItemLost; also allow damaged items be be routed directly home to owning library regardless of holds.
    • Upgraded staff client will install automatically on Evergreen start up via installer script (may take a few minutes)
  • Change Wadsworth Library (Geneseo) "short name" code from GEN to WADS (primary impact on TransitSlip and HoldSlip)
  • Adding "Access Restrictions" information (MARC 506 field) to catalog records for materials on which patrons cannot place their own holds (i.e. PLS Kits and Magazines)
  • Report scheduling - which is preferrable:
  • Increase OWWL2Go checkout limit to 4 items?
  • Create "Videogame" circulation modifier; recommended standard circ rule: 1 week, 1 renewal, $1.00 daily OD fine
