Zimbra App for Android and iPhone from Kelsy

Carbonio is an app that allows you to easily access your Zimbra mail, contacts, and calendar on your phone or tablet. Carbonio functions very similarly to widely-used email apps like Gmail.

This OWWL Docs page has more information about finding the app in the Play Store or App Store, as well as the steps to set it up. Further guides on using the app are forthcoming.

We are sharing this information only with directors, and are leaving it up to each director to decide whether or not you want to share with your staff.

Carbonio Notifications

Phone notifications can lead to stress and burnout , especially when those notifications are work-related and you are not working. Consider turning off Carbonio notifications so that you can check your work email on your own terms. This OWWL Docs page shows you how.

Ending of Lending Library, Mobile Maker Kits, and Booker Costume

We have been evaluating the OWWL Lending Library collection (Big Blue Blocks, Mobile Maker Kits, Storytime Resources, etc.) and have decided to discontinue most of the items in the OWWL Lending Library. The items are aging out, not used as much, and are difficult/expensive to manage. This phase-out will be happening over the next couple of months. Items will be sent to libraries that have already made requests. After that, they will no longer be available.

The Booker Costume is also nearing the end of their life. Once they are done with their current commitments, they will be retired.

Both button makers and book sale signs will continue to be available along with a few other select items.
